Make your Birthday even more meaningful

Every day more than 45 million people give birthday wishes on Facebook, you can make your birthday even more meaningful by fundraising on your birthday to free slaves in South Sudan or to provide aid to needy families effected by religious persecution. 

• $250 provides freedom, food, shelter and other essential supplies for freed slaves to restart their lives. 

How to get started

To create a fundraiser for a charitable organization, click here or follow these steps:

1. Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed.
2. Click Raise Money.
3. Select Nonprofit or Charity.
4. Search and select Christian Solidarity International (Westlake Village, CA)
5. Choose a cover photo
   1. Copy anyone of the images on our website by right clicking on the image and saving image.
6. Fill in the fundraiser details.
   1. In the fundraiser title include your name and the word “birthday.”  For example “John’s Birthday Fundraiser.”  
   2. Speak about why you are fundraising for CSI, what do you see the benefits of fundraising are, what is the impact you will have by giving your birthday to CSI
7. Click Create.
