Aid to religious minorities

In India, religious minorities face increasing violence and discrimination. Since 2010, CSI has been providing humanitarian aid to the victims together with local partners and working for them nationally and internationally on a legal level:

  • Legal and material support for victims of religious violence and discrimination
  • adult education
  • Management of a large network of lawyers

Aid to victims of human trafficking

Members of minorities are particularly at risk of becoming victims of human trafficking. CSI is involved with our local partner:

  • Prevention in schools for pupils, teachers and parents
  • Relief from victims
  • Rehabilitation and reintegration of victims
  • Promotion of a national network of police officers and local authorities against human trafficking
  • Helping small businesses build up so that parents don’t sell their children
